Working in Austria

Austria isn’t an easy country to move to – that would be a lie. The language is new, the bureaucracy can be a bit of a hassle, and the first winter comes as a surprise to many. But once you’ve settled in, you’ll be happy to stay.

Working conditions are fair and regulated by law. Salaries are significantly higher than what would be possible in many other countries, and the social security system offers comprehensive protection. And above all: you are needed and valued. Austria has a shortage of care staff – which means genuine job security and good career prospects for you.

Gross salary from approx. €2,200 per month (depending on qualifications, organisation and federal state), 5 weeks’ holiday, full social security: health, accident and pension insurance, including further training: Many organisations actively support professional development

… and a team to support you every step of the way.
